The most important lessons in my entrepreneurial journey

I’m going to share some of the most important lessons that’s helped me in my entrepreneur journey to help you get rid of blocks to move forward and make things happen.

1. Spend 20% of your time learning and 80% taking massive action. You don’t need to wait until everything is perfect.

You don’t need to know every single thing before you start. To be great you have to start and figure things out as you go along. That’s how you maximize your time on making progress. The doing and taking “Imperfect Action” is when you will be ahead of the rest with fast progress.

Action always beats inaction. Being stuck in the learning mode is what holds most people back.

2. Growth ALWAYS lies OUTSIDE your comfort zone.

Your comfort zone is your failure zone. Don’t be afraid. 99% of your success comes from doing the things that make you step outside of your comfort zone.

Always walk towards the direction of facing your fears and don’t run away from them. The other side of fear is exactly where everything that you desire in your life lies.  I usually ask myself this each day – “What can I do today to step outside my comfort zone?” THAT is how you become the best version of yourself.

3. Stop worrying about what other people think of you.

This holds most people back and, I, too, was there once where my family used to ridicule me saying that internet marketing would never work and that it was not real. Guess I proved them wrong

Those who are liked by everyone never do anything and have never achieved anything. Step into your power and truth and the right people, things, and opportunities will come your way.

Don’t let others tell you what to do as your future is in your hands. 💯

The day you stop caring about what others think of you is when you will have more clarity and space within yourself to go after your goals and dreams. Surround yourself with people who will empower, inspire, and uplift you and show you what’s possible. Get around those who have achieved what you want to achieve, and you will be like those who you surround yourself with.

I hope these lessons help you and you take them seriously because your mindset is the most important thing that would help you get rid of all the blocks for you to start making things happen.

Employee Mindset vs Entrepreneur Mindset

As you probably know, success in anything really boils down to mindset..

An entrepreneur is somebody who is willing to take a risk by investing his money in the hope of a return on investment. He understands that business is a risk and he can possibly lose it all, BUT his burning desire and hunger for success is far beyond his fear of failure. He has conditioned his mind in such a way that he only sees positivity regardless of the outcome. He’s self driven by his own willpower. He’ll do whatever it takes because he’s motivated towards his goals and his vision pulls him.

An employee is someone who is scared to invest his hard earned money because he cannot see any security or any form of guarantee for his investment. Since most opportunities involve a bit of risk, he prefers to play it safe. He would spend countless hours researching which opportunities are risk-free and which ones are the best to finally conclude that successful people are just born lucky!

A person with an employee mindset will only invest if he is promised a guarantee on his money; else he will label the opportunity a scam or say this does’t work or is simply not for me.

My final thoughts..

Entrepreneurs are comfortable to keep spending their money despite making losses, but employees will quit spending the moment they see no return. Entrepreneurs are willing to invest their money seeking Freedom whereas Employees are willing to exchange their time for money and so called security. That’s why in reality most employees work for entrepreneurs.

So which mindset do YOU possess? Take a moment and ask yourself
this question.

Are You Low On Inspiration?

Have you ever been low on inspiration?

If you’re like most people then I bet you would have
at some point or the other in your life.
And what do you do in such situations? Of course,
there are a lot of things we can do like talk to friends,
read good self-help books etc..
I always get more inspired when comparing my personal
challenges with those of great leaders who have changed
the course of history, and immediately realize how tiny
my challenges really are! It also helps me to stay
more focused.
Check out this video I had created back in 2014 when I
was struggling with credit card debt.

That was a really tough time for me, but I was never defeated inside.
I still go back to this video from time to time for inspiration 🙂
I hope you get some value out of my video.
